Q: Do you have gift certificates?

A: We sure do! Click here and choose the value and number of certificates you would like to purchase.  There are several options for the dollar amount based on our most common events. For each certificate, you may choose to print it out or email it directly to the recipient. 

Q: How do I redeem a gift certificate?

A: Take a look at our Upcoming Classes and Dinners page and find a class or dinner you'd like to attend. Add the class to your cart and checkout using the 16 digit code that was included with your gift card.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Due to food costs and advanced purchasing requirements, we have a 7-day non-refundable cancellation policy, except in cases of serious illness or emergencies. We are very happy to transfer your class to someone else, just let us know.

Q: How Do I get To the cooking school?

A: We are located at 67 Pleasant Valley Road in Titusville, NJ co-located with The Barn at Gravity Hill, Roots to River Farm, and Locust Light Farm. It’s surprisingly easy to get here by car, bus or train from NYC and Philadelphia.

By bus  - Purchase a round trip ticket from TransBridge Lines (Doylestown Line). At the Port Authority, go to GATE 10 (800-962-9135). Tickets are $43, no tickets sold on bus, and no reservation is necessary. You can purchase tickets online From NYC (Port Authority) to Lambertville, NJ (Sunoco Station), From Lambertville (Exxon Station) to NYC (Port Authority).

By train: NJ Transit- use the Northeast Corridor and get off in Trenton. Take a Taxi/Uber/Lyft to the cooking school in Titusville- about a 15 min ride. SEPTA- from 30th Street, get off at the Yardley station and take a Taxi/Uber/Lyft to the cooking school in Titusville- about a 15 min ride.

Q: Does the school make charitable donations?

A: While we wish we could share our love of cooking with all of our favorite charitable organizations, we receive more requests than we could possibly fulfil.  For this reason, we ask organizations seeking donations to please send your requests in January so we can plan our donations accordingly. We appreciate your understanding!

Q: Where Can I Stay?

A: Chef Shelley hosts students in her lovely apartment right on Bridge Street in Lambertville, NJ (10 minutes to school), between the river and the towpath. Chef Shelley’s guest room. Send an e-mail to the cooking school to request a stay @ thefarmcookingschool@gmail.com
